With a 25+ year track record of delivering and executing compelling risk adjusted investment returns for our clients and partners, PREDG has a expansive portfolio and footprint nationally. Unlike other vertically integrated developers and contractors, we own and operate many of our own construction trade businesses, and hold various wholesaler licenses on lumber, appliances, HVAC equipment, kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, countertops, and flooring. Our vertically integrated group of companies allows us to enhance ownership and control over various construction trades while mitigating supply chain issues, overall product cost escalations, maintaining a consistent quality in workmanship, and accelerating construction schedules while minimizing costs. Typically, our overall project costs have proven to be up to fifteen percent lower than any competitor in our respective markets. Almost every executive team member is a profit partner in the business creating a highly motivated group of professionals with a singular purpose.

 

The highly-experienced PREDG team have collectively over 250+ years of combined experience across various disciplines specifically development and construction. At any given time, the firm maintains an extensive pipeline of development opportunities representing over $1.0 billion+ or 5,000+ units across our key markets. PREDG expansive list of partners includes high-profile family offices, private equity firms, insurance companies, and high-net worth individuals.

 

Our corporate headquarters is located in New Smyrna Beach, FL, with regional offices in Charleston, SC, and Salt Lake City, UT. It’s important for our team to understand that learning and experimenting are both safe and expected. The PROSPECT learning culture reflects an organization that values and has norms around learning. In particular, our culture encourages our people to improve their knowledge, skills and abilities, or KSAs, in order to better themselves for the organization - learning permeates the culture. PROSPECT has developed a learning platform, PROSPECTED, that provides our employees the ability to continually adapt, and continuously improve through specialized training tied to a specific job leveling matrices. By combining job levels with competencies in one view, we give our people clarity on the path ahead. Whether you are a construction industry long-timer or just starting your career, training classes are tailored to your role and needs. The following categories of training are in place to ensure all employees are offered the same level of opportunity and colleague skillset.

PROSPECTED

Online training - Every field employee has access to our learning platform and the thousands of classes included in it. Content areas are comprised of construction-specific training from University-caliber instructors, Leadership and Management, Project Management and Operations, Personal Development and many more. Depending on their role, a prescribed learning module is assigned to help with their advancement, leading to skills for potential promotion. Additionally, their managers may suggest situation specific training unique to their job site, or personalities present.

 

In-person training - PROSPECT hosts annual leadership training summits for office and executive staff. These training events cover topics such as: budgeting, buyout, contract negotiations, client relationship management, conflict resolution, personality assessment, group dynamics, inspirational leadership, and emotional intelligence. Additionally, our senior field personnel offer on-the-job mentoring covering topics such as: windows and doors, roofing, structural wood framing, foundations, slabs, and footers, finishes, OSHA regulations, weekly “toolbox” safety talks, and much more. We collaborate with industry leaders to provide training and to overcome critical path obstacles. One such collaboration is our rollout of the RedTeam project management software suite. New hires are taught how to make full use of the software to streamline field operations for all subcontractors and vendors.
